Rare Patek Philippe Chronographs highlight Antiquorum's May Auction


The highlight of Antiquorum's May 2009 auction will most certainly be the rare Patek Philippe timeieces being offered for sale. The auction will feature an extremely fine and exceptionally rare Patek Philippe & Co. Geneve Ref. 1436, stainless steel split seconds chronograph made in 1945, is only one of four examples made in stainless steel with square button split seconds chronograph, 30 minute register and tachometer. It is the first time ever that this watch will be offered at auction.
Estimate: CHF 600,000- 800,000.


In addition, there is an exceptional Patek Philippe is the split second chronograph or "rattrapante". This rare timepiece is made of 18Kt yellow gold and was produced in 1928.
