Patek Philippe 5140 Perpetual Calendar

The Patek Philippe Reference 5140 is part of the Grand Complication collection. This timeless classic, is a ultra thin self-winding Perpetual calendar wristwatch showing the phases of the moon, the day, date, month and leap year. The Ref. 5140 comes in a larger more contemporary case size of 36mm. The watch features an opaline-white dial with dauphine style hands and lapped hour markers. The Patek Philippe Ref. 5140 has replaced the earlier model Ref. 3940.

The Caliber 240Q self-winding movement can be viewed through a sapphire crystal back (the watch comes with two backs- sapphire exhibition and solid gold). The Caliber 240Q movement is coveted for it's elegant layout and compact design. The movement showcases a 22Kt gold mini rotor, in an off-center position. The inlaid design of the rotor made it possible to achieve the ultra thin nature of the movement (just 2.53mm in height). The caliber 240Q is comprised of 275 individual parts. The Ref. 5140 Perpetual calendar is highly sought after by watch enthusiasts the world wide.

The Patek Philippe 5140 is made in 18Kt white or yellow gold. It comes on an alligator strap with a fold-over clasp.

Patek Philippe also offers matching Calatrava Cross cuff-links (Ref. 9083) in 18Kt white or yellow gold.
