Patek Philippe Reference 5119 Calatrava, is the latest version of the
Calatrava "
Clous de Paris",
Patek Philippe's best known watch of all time. The
Calatrava Reference 5119 is known for it's hobnail patterned bezel and a classic white lacquered dial with black roman numerals. The
Ref. 5119R (shown above)
Calatrava comes in a larger more contemporary size (case diameter of 36mm). The watch features a Caliber 215 PS manually wound movement which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal back. The Caliber 215 PS movement is known and respected for it's reliability, longevity and high rate of accuracy. It is meticulously finished and contains 130 individual parts. The
Ref. 5119 has a 60 second sub dial at 6 o'clock.
The Patek Philippe Ref. 5119 is available in 18Kt white, yellow or rose gold and comes on a black alligator strap.
