Basel World 2010: Patek Philippe 5140R Perpetual Calendar sports new dial

Basel World 2010: The new Patek Philippe Ref. 5140R in rose gold features a brown sunburst dial with gold applied hour markers. The watch comes on a dark brown hand stitched alligator strap with a fold-over clasp. The Ref. 5140R is part of Patek's Grand Complication series of watches. This timepiece showcases a Perpetual Calendar mechanism which displays the day,date, leap year, am/pm indicator and phases of the moon. Patek Philippe created and patented the Perpetual calendar in 1889.
