Patek Philippe has redesigned the dial on it's Annual Calendar Ref. 5396. The watch has unique double in-line aperture displays that reflect the style of the 1940s and 1950s. The Patek Philippe 5396 is available in 18Kt white or rose gold. The Reference 5396 is part of the Complicated Collection of watches by Patek Philippe.

Patek Philippe Ref. 3974 sets new world record at auction house Antiquorum

During this past December, Antiquorum held an extremely successful auction entitled "Celebrating 35 Years of Making history in Time". Over four hundred exceptional timepieces were up for auction. The auction centered around an extremely rare and highly sought after Patek Philippe Ref. 3974 in platinum which fetched a world record price of $1,200,00.00. Other fine timepieces included the Rolex Double Red Sea Dwellers owned by renowned record holding 'Comex' divers, Patrice Chemin and Robert Gauret.

Patek Philippe Popular Models 2009: Part Two

Perhaps no other collection of Patek Philippe watches was more popular in 2009 than the Patek Philippe Nautilus collection. Patek Philippe Popular Models 2009: Part One

There were many popular Patek Philippe models in 2009 but I thought I'd focus on a few I really admired. The Calatrava Ref. 5153J in 18Kt yellow gold was a stand out . It features a beautiful officer's-style case. The hinged dust cover opens to reveal the self-winding Caliber 324 S C movement.

The Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5098R in rose gold was

another exquisite timepiece introduced at Basel World in the spring of 2009. This tonneau shaped model is Patek's latest interpretation of the art deco style. Truly a special timepiece!

Once more the Patek Philippe Ladies Twenty~4 was a very popular timepiece for 2009. The watch is offered with diamonds in all steel as well as white or rose gold.
